"the sun affects the city, the same way it affects the movie screen, there is always light...
but you can get lost in the light, you blend in it."
Through visual haikus and intimate stories of dreamers, this short documentary film is a homage to the city of Los Angeles - a homage built around its mythical importance in the history of filmmaking.
Constructed as an exploration of urban time and urban space, the narrative is driven by seven inhabitants of Los Angeles sharing their most significant souvenir of film and how it relates to the city.
Mixing film and video format, the work aims to address the visual treatment of portraying a city through those who live in it, while unfolding different answers to the same question:
what are the traces of moving images in ourselves ?
